Project Controls Lecturer (Hybrid) — Wimbledon, London SW19
Teach the next wave of project-controls talent at LMC.
We’re hiring a Project Controls Lecturer to deliver engaging, industry-led teaching for technical education and apprenticeship programmes.
- Hybrid: typically 1-2 days per week on campus in Wimbledon (SW19), remainder remote.
- You must be able to teach in person in London/Wimbledon on scheduled days.
What you’ll do
- Deliver lectures, workshops and practicals across cost & schedule management, risk, EVM, and project management tools.
- Keep curricula current with industry standards and best practice.
- Design/assess assignments with clear, developmental feedback.
- Mentor learners and apprentices to build confidence and employability.
- Collaborate with employers and professional bodies to keep programmes relevant.
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Degree in project management/engineering/construction (or equivalent industry experience).
- Teaching or training experience in FE/HE or apprenticeship settings or willingness to gain PGCE/Cert Ed.
- Excellent communication and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Commitment to inclusive education and ongoing professional development.
