As a Commercial Accountant, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Commercial teams, using data-driven insight to help shape category strategy and deliver profitable growth. You’ll be the go-to expert, challenging performance, supporting decision-making, and making sure every pound spent is adding value.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you’ll be at the heart of key business decisions, partnering with some of the most dynamic teams in the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing commercial insight – not just the numbers, but the ‘so what?’
- Challenging the business to drive the best commercial outcomes
- Delivering accurate analysis and insight to support decision-making
- Evaluating business performance, ensuring clear understanding across teams
- Owning period-end activities, including stock and supplier income reporting
- Influencing new product launches, promotions, and pricing strategies to ensure profitability
- Driving continuous improvement, identifying ways to make processes slicker and more effective
- Playing a key role in budget and forecast preparation, ensuring financial plans are robust and achievable
- Working on cross-functional projects, collaborating across the wider business
What We’re Looking For:
We need a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong foundation in management or financial accounting. If you’ve got commercial finance experience, that’s a plus – but more importantly, we want someone who’s curious, proactive, and ready to challenge the status quo.
You’ll also bring:
