In this role, you’ll take the lead on some of our key gifting categories and really make them your own. If you’re commercially switched‑on, great with suppliers, and happiest in a creative, digital‑first environment, you’re going to feel right at home here.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role you’ll build ranges shaped by insight, trends, and data, and you’ll regularly review how the range is performing so you can spot opportunities, refine the assortment, and drive growth. You’ll also create smart pricing and promotional plans that help lift conversion, margin, and overall results.
You’ll play a big part in product assortment of trend led gifts that keep us ahead of the market. Working closely with design, merchandising, tech and suppliers you’ll bring new concepts to life and keep the range evolving based on customer behaviour and performance.
Strong supplier relationships are key in this role. You’ll negotiate costs and terms to maximise value while ensuring quality and ethical standards are met. And because our trading environment moves fast, you’ll keep a close eye on daily performance, respond quickly to opportunities or risks, and use data to guide confident, timely decisions. Ultimately, you’ll be the person driving your category forward and pushing for continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
- You’ll need hands‑on experience as a Buyer and be confident managing your own categories
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to blend creativity and data‑led decision making
- Confident negotiator with proven supplier management and commercial terms experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders
- Highly organised, able to manage several projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, comfortable interpreting detailed performance data
- Ideally, experience in gifting, FMCG, personalised products, or e‑commerce, plus understanding of supply chain/forecasting and a relevant degree
