Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation Bias)

Location: Essex (Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend – no London travel)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong installation background to join our growing team. The role is predominantly installation-focused (70% installs / 30% maintenance), working across domestic properties and some commercial projects (approx. 30%).

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of air conditioning systems to a high standard
• Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on AC systems
• Working across domestic and light commercial sites
• Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
• Completing job sheets and documentation accurately
• Providing excellent customer service on-site
• Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
• Strong installation experience (essential)
• F-Gas certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work across Essex (no London travel required)
