HV Cable Jointer (Power Distribution / Utilities)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, plus overtime, company vehicle, training, progression opportunities, pension, overnight allowance. Location: Glasgow.

We are seeking an experienced Cable Jointer to support a forward‑thinking engineering business delivering electrical infrastructure projects in the utilities and power distribution sector.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cable jointing on 33kV and 11kV networks.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Install and maintain meters and associated equipment.
• Work closely with site teams and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cable Jointer, specifically on 33kV / 11kV networks.
• Full UK driving licence and nationwide travel flexibility.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in HV environments.
