We value the unique contributions of our people and work hard to ensure every voice is heard.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of multiple projects across our client portfolio, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes from RIBA stages 0–7.Role OverviewYou will oversee full project lifecycles, manage Health & Safety responsibilities, maintain governance and gateway approvals, and work closely with designers, contractors, and stakeholders. A key focus will be effective change control, risk management, and robust financial oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery Deliver projects ensuring value for money and compliance with Mitie and client methodologies.Identify project success factors and translate these into clear milestones.Establish project roles, responsibilities, and documentation systems.Lead progress reporting, programme development, and monthly project review meetings.Manage change control and communicate contract requirements across the team. Compliance & Health and Safety Take ownership of Health & Safety throughout all project stages.Ensure CDM compliance and maintain the project risk register.Promote a culture of quality, “right first time”, and continuous improvement. Commercial & Financial Management Monitor budgets, cost control, and cash flow, ensuring accurate CVR reporting.Support procurement, subcontractor negotiation, and contract compliance.Work with supply chain and commercial teams to drive performance. Stakeholder & Team Leadership Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams.Communicate key project information clearly and effectively.Encourage innovation and evaluate completed works to identify improvements. Person SpecificationEssential Proven project management experience across pre‑construction and construction phases.Strong construction knowledge, planning capability, and commercial awareness.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Solid understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.Flexible approach with willingness to travel. Desirable Degree in construction/surveying.Professional membership: RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, MIET, or APM.MEP experience.Health & Safety qualification: NEBOSH, NVQ Level 6, IOSH. Additional ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety Follow Mitie policies at all times.Report risks, deficiencies, and training needs promptly.Use PPE and equipment correctly.
