We are partnering with a growing and ambitious full-service law firm who are looking to recruit a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with a strong emphasis on corporate work. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to join a developing team and play a key role in its continued growth.
They are seeking a commercially minded solicitor with solid experience in corporate transactions, who is confident managing matters and building client relationships. The role offers a strong platform for progression and the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
Typical duties for the role will include:
Advising on a range of corporate transactions, including share and asset sales and acquisitions.
Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, investment agreements and corporate governance documentation.
Supporting clients on company restructuring and general corporate advisory matters.
Assisting with commercial contract work where required.
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
Actively contributing to business development and networking initiatives.
Supporting the growth and development of the corporate department.
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in corporate and commercial law.
Strong experience in corporate transactions.
A demonstrable interest in business development and client relationship building.
Ideally, an existing client following or the ability to develop one.
Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, entrepreneurial and collaborative approach.
