Responsibilities
- Manage production on this cutting edge assembly facility with a focus on safety, quality, inventory, delivery and production; aim to ship approximately 800 products per month.
- Lead teams to hit targets and ensure timely output.
- Take ownership of the team, enabling high levels of engagement and challenging the team where necessary.
- Mentor and develop staff with independent decision making as needed.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or time-served or vocational engineering / manufacturing qualification.
- Excellent people management skills to mentor / develop the team — able to motivate, assertive, team development with good independent decision making skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing / production environment with targets and KPIs to hit.
- Exposed to lean techniques, 5S in the cells, Gemba walks, follow lean principles.
Desirable Requirements
- Experienced in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
