We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Team Leader to join our Crisis Centre team. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a dedicated group of support staff delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and person‑centred delivery of support services. You will lead by example, providing guidance, supervision, and support to staff while maintaining a calm and professional approach in high‑pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of support workers within the Crisis Centre
- Ensure the delivery of safe, responsive, and person‑centred care
- Support individuals experiencing mental health crises with empathy and professionalism
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
- Manage staff rotas, performance, and ongoing development
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with policies and regulations
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external agencies
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior role within health or social care
- Strong understanding of mental health and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management procedures
- Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above preferred)
- Driving licence on have own car
