Regional HR Business Partner

East Midlands (Hybrid with National travel)

£55,000 – £60,000 + car allowance

We are working with a fabulous client who is seeking an experienced Regional HR Business Partner to join their team in a national role supporting a diverse operational workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders and delivering practical, business focused HR solutions.

The role will operate in a hands on, operational capacity, with approximately 75% operational delivery and 25% strategic involvement. You will work closely with senior leadership to support organisational change, leadership capability and people initiatives, while also ensuring day to day HR support across a field based workforce and commercial teams.

You will lead and support a developing People Advisor, providing guidance and mentoring as they progress through their HR development journey, while also partnering with leaders across multiple sites and remote teams.

This position requires someone who can build credibility with operational stakeholders, confidently challenge where appropriate and provide clear, pragmatic HR guidance in a fast moving environment. Experience supporting field based teams would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders across multiple locations
  • Provide practical HR support on employee relations, organisational change and workforce planning
  • Support leadership teams through business change and evolving structures
  • Coach and develop line managers to build people management capability
  • Lead and mentor a People Advisor while helping develop HR capability within the business
  • Contribute to people initiatives and projects aligned with wider business priorities, such as Engagement and Wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

  • An experienced HR Business Partner who can operate confidently in a regional role
  • Comfortable working with operational, field based or commercially focused teams
  • Able to balance hands on HR delivery with strategic input
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively where needed
  • Resilient, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
