Electrical Engineer
Join Vital Energi’s specialist O&M team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of plantrooms across London.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventive and reactive electrical maintenance for plantrooms and renewable energy systems at a number of high‑profile public sector and private sector sites.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, contractors and colleagues within the sphere of operation, fulfilling customer service requirements while meeting QHSE objectives.
- Ensure statutory and mandatory inspections are carried out and documented in line with the company’s management system.
- Accurately maintain and submit relevant documentation and records as required.
- Undertake subcontractor management where necessary.
- Respond to issues as part of a call‑out rota.
Qualifications
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification or equivalent time-served.
- Demonstrable electrical maintenance and fault‑finding experience covering heating, refrigeration, pumping or similar plantroom equipment.
- Forces leavers/Ex‑Forces members with transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies such as heat pumps and solar is highly advantageous.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
