Your key duties as a Senior Estimator will be…

  • An ability to understand and comply with Company Procedures
  • Understanding and interpretation of Client briefs.
  • Produce detailed cost plans aligning with briefs and associated documentation.
  • Be able to work on and cost multiple projects at any given time.
  • Use technical knowledge to price projects effectively with varying levels of information.
  • Understand and make allowances for compliance.
  • Work closely with suppliers/subcontractors to achieve best price.
  • Carry out surveys to assist with design and quantifying.
  • Determine how progress will impact cost.
  • Influence project decision making with pre-construction advice.
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the manager.
  • Understanding associated risk areas and making allowances accordingly.

Competencies

  • Construction and fit-out experience (especially within commercial offices and industrial.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to estimate multiple projects at any one time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and pivot when necessary.
