Project Quantity Surveyor | Regional Contractor | Yorkshire Projects | £55k – £65k + Package

We’re working with a well-established main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for projects across Yorkshire

This is a role for a commercially astute QS who can confidently run their own scheme, managing all financial aspects from pre-construction through to final account

You’ll have the autonomy to lead the commercial function on your project, with the backing of a strong leadership team and a secure pipeline of regional work

What You’ll Be Doing;

  • Taking full commercial ownership of your assigned project
  • Managing subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointment
  • Administering subcontract accounts, valuations, and variations
  • Preparing and submitting client valuations and final accounts
  • Managing cost reporting, forecasting, and CVRs
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
  • Ensuring contractual compliance and protecting commercial position
  • Working closely with site and project teams to drive financial performance

What You Will Need;

  • Proven experience operating as a Project QS, running your own schemes
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Commercially confident and capable of working independently
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent)
