I’m currently working with a global, well-established Cybersecurity business in London who are looking for a Head of Data with experience in Security or Cyber to join their team on a hybrid basis!
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
The company have been going since 2018 and quickly developed into one of the fastest growing Cybersecurity companies with over 5 sites worldwide. They essentially utilise the latest technologies to build Cloud Security & SaaS platforms, develop AI-native software that their clients use to increase security presence, process and integrations for them and their customers.
They are now looking for a Head of Data to own and scale the data function as the business continues to grow and build more SaaS platforms. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for designing, building and implementing the data strategy across the business and setting the standard for your data team.
They are based in Central London and are looking for people to work in the office 2 days a week.
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience leading data teams in a SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology environment.
- Strong background in data engineering and analytics – no need to code.
- Experience scaling data platforms in a cloud-native environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, dbt, Airflow, BI tools.
- Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
- Track record of partnering with non-technical stakeholders and influencing at exec level.
- Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance in a financial context.
- Excellent communication skills — you can make data meaningful, not intimidating.
