What youll be doing: Ensure our guests have an exceptional experience by overseeing interactions, addressing feedback, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages return visits.Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest journey, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement improvements.Lead your team by example, demonstrating professionalism and fostering a strong team culture. You will facilitate regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and appraisals to promote teamwork and personal development.Oversee the succession and training plans for your team to ensure their growth and preparedness.Be a knowledgeable resource on our suppliers, products, and brand.Collaborate with the head chef to monitor and maintain the consistent quality of our dishes.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring regular team visits.Build and sustain high-performing teams.Drive sales and profitability, working with the head chef to manage P&L responsibilities and achieve sales and labor targets.Ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain food safety standards to uphold a 5-star EHO rating. What youll bring: Passion and knowledge of restaurants, good cooking, good sourcing of food and drink are a great headstart. But most important is the appetite to learn, grow and be a part of building the most exciting restaurant group in London.Experience in running a dinner service of covers and managing teams of 80+.We’d love you to have bib gourmand or Michelin star experience.3+ years working as a General Manager within a high volume London/City restaurant.It would be desirable that you have good knowledge and understanding of the current London food scene.A proven track record in recruiting, retaining, and developing a large, engaged team.A calm, collected approach to running busy services, with a sharp eye for detail, unshakable standards, and a commitment to team culture.Confidence in leading a diverse senior team and working closely with stakeholders and directors.Strong financial acumen, including experience managing GP, margins, daily/weekly financials, and comprehensive health and safety responsibilities.Flexibility to work varied shifts across 5 out of 7 days.Full UK right to work documents.
