Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Health Nurse to join our Occupational Health Team. The position focuses on promoting a healthy workforce, maximizing attendance, and providing specialist advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full remit of Occupational Health services, including sickness absence case management, health surveillance, health screening, and infection control.
- Provide specialist nursing care and advice to employees of the Trust and its external clients.
- Manage a designated caseload and offer advice to employees, managers, and Human Resources on absence management and well‑being at work.
- Deputize for the Head of Occupational Health Services on a rotational basis during annual leave.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team within an SEQOHS accredited Occupational Health Department.
Qualifications
- Qualified Occupational Health Nurse with significant experience in the specialty.
- Ability to provide a high standard of specialist care to employees and external clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to advise managers, staff and HR colleagues.
Working Hours & Conditions
22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm. The role requires working at both the Castle Hill and Hull Royal Departments as needed.
