Housing Solicitor

About the role:

• landlord and tenant law
• statutory duty of care
• homelessness/disrepair
• the acquisition and disposal of property and the development of housing policy and process
• advice in respect to specific letters, disputes or other matters
• detailed advice on complex cases
• advice on leaseholder agreements, consultation and sale covenants

About you:

• A thorough knowledge of Housing Law and Court procedure
• A Solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives

What you will do:

• Provide legal advice and assistance to the housing service
• Experience of providing guidance and support to colleagues
• Demonstrates a responsive and effective customer focused approach
• An excellent track record of building internal and external relationships which deliver
• A thorough knowledge of Housing Law

Salary: Grade 12 Point 33 to Point 35 £44,075 to £46,142 per annum £22.84 to £23.91 per hour
