ThisisapivotalrolewiththeTravelOperationsandCustomerServicesManagerbeingasenior,hands-onrole,responsiblefordeliveringasafe,good-valueexperiencefortheirtripparticipantsfrombookingthroughtothesuccessfulcompletionoftheirchosenchallenge.

Thisinvolvesoverseeingthepre-departureexperienceofparticipantsaswellasthemanagementandbookingofsupplierservicestoensurealltripsarerunsafelyandefficientlyforallparticipants.

Tobeconsidered,candidatesmusthavesenioroperationsandcustomerservicesexperiencegainedwithinadventureorstudenttravelwithanunderstandingofgrouptravelwiththeabilitytomanagerelationshipswithsuppliers.

ThereisaclearpathwayfortherightcandidatetoprogressintoaSeniorOperations&CustomerExperienceManagerroleand,longerterm,HeadofOperations,basedonperformanceandcommitment.

Thisroleisofferedonahybridbasis-CentralLondon

TravelOperationsandCustomerServicesManagerDuties:

MaintainingTripDateMappingdocumentstoensurealltripsareplannedefficiently,liaisingwithsalesstafftoensuredeparturedatesareoptimised.

Administertheagreedpre-departurechecksprocessforallActivetrips,liaisingwithotherrelevantstafftoensureparticipantsandcharitypartnersarecommunicatedwithwherenecessary.

Takingresponsibilityforensuringthattripsaremappedondateswiththebestvalueflightpricesandchoosethebestvalueairlinesforeachrouting,takingflighttimes,layovers,costperpersonandcontractualtermsintoaccount.

Request,negotiateandagreetrip-specificquotes/contractswithairlinesasearlyaspossible,ensuringthecostpertravellingparticipantisminimised.

MonitorsuppliersperformanceandadherencetocontractualobligationsandensurethattheCEOismadeawareofissuesassoonaspossibleaftertheyarise.
