Job Description:

This position is being advertised on a confidential basis. Applicants progressing to the 1st stage will receive full information about the company, leadership team and the events portfolio before any interviews take place.

Can you make things happen?

Are you a relationship builder? Do you thrive off real one-to-one conversations with senior people? Do you light up when you walk into a room full of people you know and people you want to know?

That’s the role.

We are building conferences that bring together the people shaping the future of banking. We are looking for someone who can build genuine relationships with the senior leaders our industry needs to be hearing from, and bring them into our world – as speakers and as the audience around them.

This is one of the most important roles in our business. The person in this seat shapes who shows up on our stages and who sits in the room.

What This Actually Is

Part relationship-builder, part industry connector, part community curator.

You will own the speaker and senior audience pipeline for our UK and US events. You will identify the senior leaders our audience wants to hear from, and the delegates whose presence makes the room what it needs to be.

You will also be a genuine audience insight voice in our business. Through real conversations with speakers, sponsors and delegates, you will understand the challenges the industry is actually wrestling with and feed that intelligence back in. We will give you the tools and frameworks to ask the right questions and aggregate what you learn into something the whole business can use.

Over time, you will become a known and trusted voice in the banking and fintech community – not by broadcasting at people, but by being the person they want to talk to. Someone who listens, connects and gives back. The kind of person who builds influence the right way, by being part of the community rather than performing for it.

You will work hand in hand with our growth marketing team, who will provide the research, the data, the targeting and the AI tools to help you reach the right people. Your job is to take that intelligence and turn it into real conversations and real relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a pipeline of senior speakers and delegates across our UK and US events.
  • Have great conversations with senior banking and fintech leaders – on the phone, on Zoom, on LinkedIn and in person.
  • Recruit media partners, association partners and industry stakeholders who help us reach the right audience.
  • Shape the senior audience by working with existing attendees to bring their peers, and personally hosting key delegates through their journey with us.
  • Gather real audience insight from speakers, sponsors and delegates — understanding the challenges they’re facing and feeding that back into our programmes, content and positioning.
  • Be on site at every event hosting senior contacts, making introductions, running VIP dinners and bringing real energy to the room.
  • Work closely with our growth marketing team, who provide the research, data and AI tooling to power your outreach.
  • Build long-term relationships so speakers and delegates want to come back, refer their peers, and engage with us throughout the year.

What Success Looks Like

  • A consistent flow of confirmed senior speakers, every week, against agreed targets.
  • A senior audience that reflects who the room needs to be – the right people in the right numbers.
  • Real, ongoing audience insight that shapes what we do and how we position it.
  • A growing personal network of senior banking and fintech contacts who pick up your call.
  • Speakers and delegates who return for future events and refer their peers.
  • A community that feels personally hosted and wants to be part of what we do next.

Who You Are

You are people-first. You enjoy the conversation. You build rapport quickly and you remember the things that matter to people. You have personality and warmth, and people remember you after they meet you.

You are genuinely curious about the industry. You want to understand what people are really wrestling with, not just collect quotes. You ask better questions than most people, and you listen well.

You have done this kind of work before in events. Your background includes speaker acquisition, industry relations or audience development at a B2B events business. You understand how events work and what makes a senior person say yes.

You think commercially. You understand that the people you bring in shape the audience and the revenue. You see relationships and commercial outcomes as the same thing, not separate things.

You love working with AI and modern tools. You see them as a way to sharpen your targeting, your research and your outreach so you can spend more of your time on the conversations that matter.

Most of all, you make things happen. You are the person in any team who picks up the phone, finds a way in, and gets the result.

Location & Working Pattern

This role is fully remote, with travel to our events in the UK and US and occasional team gatherings.

Because our audience spans the UK and US, you will need to be comfortable working flexibly across time zones – including some early mornings or evenings to align with US contacts. We are happy to flex working hours around that, not on top of it.

Compensation

OTE £55,000 – £70,000 depending on experience, made up of a competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus tied to confirmed speakers, audience targets and event outcomes. Strong upside for high performers.

If you are the right fit, we will make it work.

About Us

This position is being advertised on a confidential basis. Applicants progressing to the 1st stage will receive full information about the company, leadership team and the events portfolio before any interviews take place.

We operate industry leading events across the UK and US, with 2 further events launching in 2027.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you would enjoy, we would love to hear from you.
