Location: London, UK / Hybrid Remote

We have an office in London and this position can either be based in the office, or hybrid remote, with the expectation of attending the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays (subject to your existing legal right to work in the jurisdiction).

About The Role

HERE is growing and we are hiring an experienced Sales Director to join our EMEA Sales team. This role will be crucial for expanding our SaaS footprint across SME organisations and divisions/teams within industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Metals & Mining, and Utilities. You will drive new business, create pipelines with new relationships, and expand within firms. The role focuses on driving adoption of the HERE technology platform across new verticals and increasing the customer base. Commercial success will be measured by generating a significant pipeline of opportunities, communicating our Enterprise SaaS value proposition, and managing a high volume of opportunities. This role will be focused on selling within the UK and Continental Europe.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of generating and closing SME SaaS deals across multiple industries, leveraging existing networks, and managing a high volume of opportunities with new logos. This is an individual contributor role responsible for growing and achieving personal sales targets, not managing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong pipeline: focus on new logos with proactive prospecting, initiating contact, strategic account networking, and strong qualification. Leverage your network with our sales technology and AI tools to drive efficiency and value-led messaging.
  • Meet sales quota and drive success: conduct and execute on sales campaigns, achieve annual targets with a measurable process (MEDDICC), and effectively communicate opportunity progression.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships: sustain valuable client relationships across the complete sales cycle.
  • Become a solutions consultant: develop insights into security and productivity trends, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation strategies to align HERE with customer needs.
  • Become a HERE Expert: rapidly develop a deep understanding of our product and technology to communicate value to senior stakeholders, represent HERE at industry events, and assist with lead generation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong industry knowledge with a minimum of 8+ years of direct SME SaaS sales experience across at least two industries (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, metals & mining, and/or energy).
  • Confident command of selling to the UK and Continental Europe, focusing on the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and/or Spain.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level platform tools and independently generating pipeline from proactive outreach.
  • A proven track record for generating and closing a higher volume of deals within direct sales.
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts and presenting value propositions to align with customer priorities.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder communications and drive a sales process from start to finish.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology and our product mission; excellent verbal, written, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Business proficiency in a second European language is preferred.
