An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse with experience in an acute care or renal setting to join our Haemodialysis service at the Royal London Hospital.

The aim of this post is to develop renal nurses within the clinical area. The post holder will provide direct care to renal patients under the supervision of senior colleagues while acquiring and developing specialist skills and knowledge to meet the needs of this patient group.

The post requires flexible hours to meet service need with shift rotations between days and nights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to renal patients under the supervision of senior colleagues.
  • Support the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet patient needs and objectives.
  • Actively promote and contribute to inter‑professional learning activities across the renal service and Trust‑wide.
  • Serve as an effective role model for best practice nursing.
  • Work closely with a multi‑disciplinary team and renal service staff.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

  • Band 5 staff nurse with experience in an acute care or renal setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to safe, compassionate care.
  • Flexibility, reliability and a demonstrated ability to engage in progressive learning environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi‑disciplinary team and across all bands of clinical nursing staff.
