Are you an experienced property professional looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same and where your expertise truly makes an impact? We have a new opportunity for a Commercial Property Manager to join our team at Guinness for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
About the Role
As a key member of the Commercial Services team, you will manage a varied portfolio of non‑residential assets, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and safety requirements while supporting the organisation in maximising income. You will oversee the full lettings process, maintain accurate records, act as the primary contact for tenants, manage key lease events, and work with internal colleagues and external agents to ensure agreements progress efficiently and in line with required standards.
This is an agile-based position requiring travel within the South West. Travel will be required as a part of this role, so you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
What we are looking for
We care just as much about how you work as what you deliver. You’ll bring energy, ownership, and a commitment to high-quality customer service, with the confidence to collaborate, build strong relationships, and go the extra mile.
- Experience working in a property or asset management environment with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and codes (landlord & tenant, health & safety, RICS commercial service charge code).
- Ability to interpret and apply lease and contractual provisions accurately.
- Proven experience managing health & safety compliance.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, with experience handling diverse and high-volume enquiries.
- Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience procuring and managing contracted services.
- Knowledge of public liability responsibilities and company law.
Qualifications
- Essential: Degree-level education (Level 6) or equivalent.
- Desirable: Chartered RICS Surveyor or TPI membership.
