Support Manager – Supported LivingSalary: £38k Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday Location: Gloucester
We are seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join the team as an Area Support Manager to support the oversight and delivery of high-quality supported living services across multiple locations in Gloucester.
Supporting services delivering approximately 6,000 hours of care per week, you will work closely with the Registered Managers and report directly to the Regional Director. You will play a key role in ensuring services operate safely, remain compliant, and continue to deliver person-centred support. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager looking to develop their operational experience across multiple services.
Key Responsibilities:Support the operational oversight of multiple supported living services across GloucesterWork alongside Registered Managers to maintain high standards of care and complianceProvide leadership, guidance and support to staff teamsAssist with recruitment, supervision, performance management and staff developmentSupport services to meet CQC and regulatory requirementsAssist with inspection preparation, audits and quality monitoringEnsure person-centred care plans and risk assessments are effectively implementedSupport budget monitoring and efficient use of resourcesPromote strong health & safety practices across servicesLiaise with families, professionals, commissioners and external stakeholdersProvide operational support where required to ensure service continuity
Candidate Requirements:Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within social careExperience working within supported living or adult social care servicesStrong knowledge of CQC regulations and complianceExperience leading teams and supporting service performanceConfident communicator with strong organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities across different servicesGood IT skills and experience completing reports and care documentation
Desirable:Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)Experience supporting multiple services or large servicesUnderstanding of budget monitoring and resource management
