Staff Software Engineer – Cybersecurity Start-up | London
Staff Software Engineer required for one of the most exciting cybersecurity start-ups in London right now: still early enough to make a real mark, but past the uncertainty and firmly in build and scale mode.
This is a team led by founders who’ve previously built a start-up in cybersecurity and successfully. They’ve assembled an exceptionally strong engineering team and scaled rapidly in the short amount of time they have been around. The difference now? They’ve hit product-market fit within the cybersecurity space, have a growing and credible customer base, and are accelerating fast.
You are someone who can operate end-to-end, who doesn’t just write great code, but shapes systems, influences direction, and raises the bar across the team.
About you:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficient in Python, Go, Java or C# but fundamentally language agnostic
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Comfortable owning problems from idea → production
- A pragmatic, high-impact approach
Bonus points if you bring:
- Cybersecurity domain experience
- Time spent in start-ups or high-growth environments
- Experience building or scaling cloud-heavy products
