Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

We’re supporting a specialist vehicle bodybuilding business in Greater Manchester with the recruitment of a Senior Product Application Engineer.

This role would suit someone with experience in product engineering, application engineering, vehicle bodybuilding, coachbuilding or bespoke manufacturing who is comfortable working across technical detail, customer requirements and production support.

You’ll be joining the engineering / product team and will play an important part in making sure specifications, quotations and build information are accurate, practical and ready for production.

What the role involves:

Producing specifications, part lists and build documentation

Supporting quotations and costing activity

Liaising with customers to understand technical requirements

Acting as a link between sales, engineering and production

Maintaining product data and engineering documentation

Supporting consistency and improvements across engineering processes

What they’re looking for:

Experience in a Product Engineer, Application Engineer or similar role

Background in manufacturing, vehicle bodybuilding, coachbuilding or a similar engineering environment

Ability to produce clear technical documentation and support quotation work

Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills

CAD and engineering compliance knowledge would be beneficial
