Plan-It Homecare Ltd is a health care organisation providing supported living and domiciliary care services to people in the community. We work across 2 local authorities and looking to expand our reach and services. We are looking for an energetic and forward thinking individual who is willing to join our team to achieve the set goals. As a deputy Manager, you will be tasked with the responsibilities to support and promote a caring and supportive environment for Plan-It Homecare customers and staff by implementing very high standards of professional care and support.

Key tasks for the ideal Candidate include:

  • Supports the registered manager in the day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in the growth of the organisation by liaising with new and existing clients of the organisations
  • Check for new referrals and accept the ones we can safely support in conjunction with the registered manager and care co-ordinator
  • Design and review care plans and risk assessments of new and existing clients
  • Liaise with trainers / training organisations to ensure that relevant training is delivered
  • Supports the registered manager in Liaising with other members of the management team to ensure that our clients receive the best quality of care and support available
  • Supports the registered manager in attending to all safeguarding meetings and carry out safeguarding investigations according to standards
  • Supports the registered manager in attending to all clients complaints and ensure a speedy and satisfactory resolution
  • Supports the registered manager in checking for correct implementation of safety procedures
  • Supervising the audits of all aspects of the organisations to ensure compliance
  • Support the financial planning and implementation of the organisation
  • Support with the management, appraisal, supervision and mentoring of staff assigned to you
  • Liaising with other professionals and organizations to ensure that our clients are well supported
  • Undertake regular client reviews
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Provide a positive and supportive environment for both service users and staff
  • Any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the organisation

Experience xwzovoh / Skills Required

  • Demonstrable Experience of Working in a Domiciliary Care Setting in a senior staff position.
  • Proven Experience Working with Clients Who Have Age Related illness, Learning Disability and Mental Health Condition

  • Diploma Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care
