Project Manager – Highways / Civil Engineering

A growing regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver highways and infrastructure schemes across the South Midlands.

This is a hands-on role overseeing multiple civils packages including highways, 278 works, drainage, and associated infrastructure, working closely with clients, site teams, and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of highways & civils projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme delivery
• Ensure HSEQ compliance and quality standards
• Drive programme, cost control, and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven Project Manager experience within highways / civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of Section 278, drainage, and infrastructure works
• SMSTS, CSCS
• Commercial awareness and programme management capability
