Learning Support Worker – Swindon | 13.75 per hour
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with learning disabilities? Our client, a welcoming and inclusive school in Swindon, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in accessing education within a caring environment.
What you’ll be doing:* Providing tailored support to students with various learning disabilities* Assisting with classroom activities, lesson delivery, and behaviour management* Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment* Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
What you’ll bring:* Experience working with children or young people with additional needs* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach* Strong communication and teamwork skills* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable skills and qualifications:* Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or other communication tools* Relevant qualifications in education or health & social care
Details:* Location: Swindon* Pay Rate: 13.75 per hour* Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
