Production Manager Key Essentials:
Reporting to the senior leadership team, as Production Manager your role will involve taking full responsibility for production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time deliveryManaging a team of approximately 35 shop floor staff, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance managementOverseeing production planning and scheduling to maximise output and meet delivery deadlinesWorking closely with the design team to ensure seamless transition from design through to manufactureTaking ownership of supply chain coordination, ensuring materials and components are available as requiredIdentifying and resolving operational challenges using effective problem-solving techniquesDriving continuous improvement across production processes, productivity, and quality standardsEnsuring compliance with health & safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture
Production Manager Requirements:
Proven track record in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within engineering or manufacturingStrong mechanical or engineering background (essential)Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skillsConfident communicator with the ability to engage across teams and departmentsDemonstrated problem-solving ability within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience managing large teams within a production setting
