Project Manager – Civils & Residential
Location: London Salary: Competitive + Package
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civils and residential infrastructure packages on high-profile developments across London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering complex groundworks and infrastructure schemes on large-scale residential projects.
The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of civils and groundwork packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project operations across civils and residential groundwork packages
- Lead site teams including Engineers, Foremen, and Supervisors
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resources
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
- Oversee subcontractors and supply chain performance
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful delivery
- Produce regular reports for senior management and clients
- Drive high standards of workmanship and project efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civils, groundworks, or residential infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of RC frames, drainage, roads, and enabling works
- Experience working on large residential or mixed-use developments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Managerial), and First Aid qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
