The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist CAMHS service in South London for an experienced Support Worker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with mental health needs in a residential care setting.
You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people, working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, therapeutic, and nurturing care is delivered consistently.
About You
You will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working within CAMHS
- Experience in care settings, ideally CAMHS residential homes
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with mental health needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people
- The ability to remain calm, professional and resilient in a demanding environment
- A full UK driving licence (desirable)
