Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with a technology led services business to help hire a Head of Audit to play a pivotal role in transforming their audit function. Our client has a pre-existing compliance focused audit team which you will inherit, but this role will see you play a pivotal role in changing to a more risk-based approach.

At its core this role will see you transforming the function by designing, implementing and maintaining a risk-based internal audit plan that will delver high quality assurance to senior stakeholders. There is a good appetite within the business for this to be a success and as such you will be preparing regular, clear and concise reports for the Executive Board and Audit Committees, providing assurance on operational effectiveness.
To be successful you will need to have a clear communication style and effective in influencing others. You will have prior man‑management experience and feel comfortable speaking and dealing with senior stakeholders. The team that you will inherit sit between in London and Manchester respectively and will see your time equally split between the two.
To be considered you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIA) with extensive risk-based internal audit experience ideally from another in-house function.
