This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working at pace, solving problems, and collaborating across multiple functions while also supporting and developing trainee technologists. Leading specification and artwork activity for allocated customer accounts, ensuring all data is accurate, compliant and delivered on time. Managing launch and housekeeping specifications, following critical paths and supporting NPD, Process and Commercial teams from concept to launch. Training and coaching trainee specification technologists, including the use of Oracle and internal systems. Presenting confidently to senior managers and retailers, providing accurate data and updates. Writing and maintaining customer specifications across multiple platforms (including Foods Connected, Excel-based formats and retailer systems). Being available for audit support at both sites (Saladworks & Kettleby Foods), ensuring all specs and documents remain audit-ready. Minimum 2 years specification writing experience within the chilled food industry. Strong understanding of food labelling regulations, retailer guidelines and artwork processes. Ability to travel between both Saladworks and Kettleby Foods as required. Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems. Full UK driving licence required.
