Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller to join a growing engineering and project delivery team based in Bristol. The business delivers complex, high specification projects within advanced manufacturing, technology and regulated environments.

This role will play a key part in supporting multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams by ensuring all project documentation is managed, tracked and controlled accurately throughout the full project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company procedures

• Administer the document control system, ensuring accurate filing and version control

• Track drawing revisions, approvals and technical submissions

• Issue and log transmittals

• Produce document status reports for project teams

• Coordinate document submissions from subcontractors and suppliers

• Support project managers and engineers with document related queries


Requirements

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction or manufacturing

• Strong understanding of document control processes and workflows

• Experience using electronic document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint, Asite, SharePoint or similar

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a technical team environment
