In-House Legal Counsel – Asset Management | London
A leading global investment management firm is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its London-based legal team.
This is a broad and intellectually engaging role offering exposure across fund structuring, corporate initiatives, regulatory matters, and wider asset management activities on a global scale. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This opportunity would suit a proactive and technically strong lawyer who enjoys balancing transactional, advisory, and governance work while working across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate fund formation documentation including LPAs, PPMs, subscription agreements, and side letters
- Support legal work relating to investment management, distribution, introducer, rebate, and marketing agreements
- Advise on product launches, entry into new jurisdictions, and broader strategic business initiatives
- Provide guidance on regulatory developments impacting the asset management industry
- Assist with corporate governance matters and board-related work
- Work closely with the wider global legal and compliance teams on business-critical projects
Experience Required
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 4–6 years’ PQE
