About the Company:

We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager with a history of managing cross functional teams to join a leading company and their expanding site in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategy development and execution.
  • Oversee technical support for manufacturing.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Operations team.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, MHRA, and support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
  • Lead and contribute to technical projects.
  • Act as a key technical partner across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning to maintain efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Lead robust root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Champion a proactive Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the team.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related.
  • Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • A good knowledge of immunoassays.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, process validation and technical transfer.
