About the Company:
We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager with a history of managing cross functional teams to join a leading company and their expanding site in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy development and execution.
- Oversee technical support for manufacturing.
- Build and develop a high-performing Operations team.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, MHRA, and support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
- Lead and contribute to technical projects.
- Act as a key technical partner across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning to maintain efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead robust root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Champion a proactive Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Life Sciences or related.
- Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- A good knowledge of immunoassays.
- Experience in continuous improvement, process validation and technical transfer.
