Senior Quantity Surveyor

LOBA GROUP is currently working in partnership with a highly regarded London based residential developer to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well capitalised and design led developer with an impressive pipeline of large scale PBSA and Build to Rent schemes across London. The business has established a strong reputation for delivering high quality mixed use and residential developments and is continuing to expand due to a significant increase in secured projects.
The Role
Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider delivery team, the successful candidate will take commercial responsibility across multiple residential schemes from pre construction through to final account.
This position will suit an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who is confident operating within a fast paced developer environment and has strong experience delivering complex residential projects in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project costs from feasibility through to completion
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
- Cost reporting and budget management
- Working closely with Development, Design and Construction teams
- Supporting procurement strategy and contract administration
- Managing risk and identifying value engineering opportunities
- Liaising with consultants, contractors and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential sector
- Strong exposure to PBSA, BTR or large scale residential developments
- Developer or main contractor background considered
- Experience delivering projects within London highly desirable
- Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
