Inspire Wellbeing is recruiting a kind, reliable and compassionate Night Cover to join our Mental Health & Addiction Services team at 104 University Street, Belfast.
At 104 University Street, we provide intensive supported living for individuals with complex mental health needs and substance use history. Here, we build from the ground up – offering consistent human connection, trust and hope. This work is real, raw and incredibly rewarding.
You'll be supporting a small group of individuals, each with their own story and strengths, as they begin or continue their recovery journey – helping to create a safe, calm environment where people can rebuild confidence, stability and purpose.
As Night Cover, you will be the main point of contact between 10pm and 8am, ensuring the safety, wellbeing and security of the service. While this is a sleeping duty role, your presence provides reassurance and support when it's needed most.
What You'll Bring
To be shortlisted, you'll need:
To be flexible during night time hours for on call purposes.
Experience of supporting an individual in a caring field as a paid employee, volunteer or carer
An interest in working with people within a care environment.
What You'll Receive
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Contracts may be available for 10, 20 or 30 hours per week (1, 2 or 3 sleepover shifts per week)
Salary: £4,674.80 pro rata, per annum – based on 10 hours £9,349.60 pro rata, per annum – based on 20 hours £14,024.40 pro rata, per annum – based on 30 hours
What the Role Involves
As Night Cover, you will:
Provide a safe, reassuring presence overnight
Respond calmly to any emergencies or support needs
Ensure the security of the building, including checks of doors, alarms and appliances
Support Service Users with health, wellbeing and daily living needs where required
Promote a recovery-focused, non-judgemental approach
Maintain clear and accurate records and contribute to handovers
Support a respectful, inclusive and therapeutic environment
