Product Manager in the Alternative Payments team, responsible for building and enhancing payment experiences and services to support global customers.
What You'll Own
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external alternative payment product providers
- Define the product strategy, own and maintain the product roadmap
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across multiple teams/business areas to understand key requirements and end user needs that are to be achieved by the delivered product
- Undertake and consume market, customer, and competitor research to support the creation of strong value propositions for your products
- Develop and communicate clear business cases for new products/capabilities to be added into the delivery roadmap
- Write, refine and socialize epics/features with the engineering teams to plan work items which will deliver value in line with the product vision and roadmap
- Take ownership of the overall product delivery – plan, develop and execute launch, reporting on progress, adhering to relevant governance and within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with Commercialisation and Sales Enablement teams to deliver a go-to-market strategy with clear customer segmentation, targeting and positioning
- Support with the production of all product collateral, delivery of commercial and technical training and go-to-market communications to transfer product expertise/knowledge across the organisation
- Develop a deep understanding of your products, their markets and our competition, continually build on your expertise and knowledge to act as an owner/subject matter expert
- Support the commercial teams with promotion of your products to customers where required
- Regularly undertake reviews to gain a full understanding of your products performance, partnerships, customers, volumes processed and value to the business
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in product management, product solutioning, and/or product development/implementation
- Knowledge of the Payments industry, preferably Alternative Payments
- Relationship Management experience with customers and/or partners
- Strong skills in gathering and analysing data and/or customer feedback to inform decisions
- Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams/stakeholders
- Experience in managing projects end-to‑end
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with product management tools and agile development processes
