A compelling opportunity for a commercially sharp, senior market research sales professional with panel sales expertise who genuinely loves winning new business and building lasting client relationships. This international market research services group is growing fast and thinking big. If you're entrepreneurial, energetic and ready to make your mark, this is the role to do it in, with real scope to help shape the UK and European sales function from the ground up.

Joining a small, high-calibre team of senior sales professionals as Sales Director, you'll own new customer acquisition across the UK and Europe, driving revenue through a strong portfolio of market research services, panels, sampling solutions and specialist insight products. It's a senior, hands-on commercial role where opening doors, nurturing relationships and closing high-value deals are at the heart of what you do. You'll manage the full sales cycle: from building your pipeline and prospecting, through to pitching and negotiating, before transitioning newly won clients to a dedicated account team.

Responsibilities

  • Own new customer acquisition across the UK and Europe and drive revenue through a portfolio of market research services, panels, sampling solutions and specialist insight products.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: pipeline development, prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and transitioning new clients to a dedicated account team.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network spanning research agencies, consultancies and media groups; open doors and nurture relationships at senior levels.
  • Mentor colleagues, influence commercial strategy, and, as the UK and European footprint grows, build and lead your own sales team.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience selling market research services, panels, or sampling; established network across research agencies, consultancies and media groups.
  • Proven ability to articulate value and tailor solutions across B2C and B2B audiences; comfort engaging at senior level.
  • Proactive, resilient, credible; comfortable operating at pace and spotting opportunities early to deliver consistent, sustainable growth.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience representing the business at industry events and raising the company profile in key European markets.
