Our client, a leading US law firm, is seeking to hire a high-calibre Fund Finance Associate to join its expanding London office, with a strong focus on lender-side mandates.


This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and growing fund finance team that predominantly advises financial institutions, private credit funds and other capital providers on complex, high-value, cross-border transactions. The practice covers the full spectrum of fund finance structures, including subscription line facilities, NAV financings, hybrid facilities and preferred equity arrangements across a broad range of asset classes.


The London team forms a core part of the firm’s global finance platform, working closely with US and European colleagues on sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional matters. With a robust and consistent pipeline of lender-driven work, the practice continues to see sustained growth.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and negotiating principal finance documents across subscription line, NAV and hybrid facilities, primarily acting for lenders.
  • Advising financial institutions and credit providers on structuring, credit risk, security packages and enforcement considerations at both fund and management company level.
  • Working directly with banks, private credit platforms and other institutional lenders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s global offices on cross-border transactions.


Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ PQE, England & Wales qualified, or a common law qualified lawyer from a leading City, US or international firm.
  • Strong fund finance experience, including subscription credit facilities, NAV-based lending and hybrid structures.
  • Excellent academic credentials, strong technical ability and commercial judgement.
  • A collaborative team player with experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
  • The team will also consider candidates from leveraged finance or private credit backgrounds, as well as those from more structured finance teams looking to move into a fund finance practice with greater exposure to lender-side work.
