Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join their dynamic finance and real estate team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated UK and European commercial real estate finance transactions in a thriving, collaborative environment.


Position Overview

As a Structured Finance Associate, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive, practical and business-oriented advice to a wide range of clients, including banks, life insurance companies, private equity sponsors, hedge funds, real estate funds, debt funds, REITs, BDCs, sovereign entities and pension vehicles. You will work closely with specialists from tax, restructuring and corporate practices to deliver high-quality, time-sensitive service to clients.


Responsibilities

  • Support debt capital markets transactions, including bond issuances and MTN/EMTN programmes.
  • Assist on securitisations, ABS and warehouse financing structures.
  • Draft and negotiate core financing documents and transaction agreements.
  • Coordinate cross-border workstreams with clients, counsel and internal teams.
  • Work on liability-management matters (consent solicitations, tenders, amendments).
  • Provide clear, commercial advice and help manage client relationships.


Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with 2-6 years PQE
  • Capital markets, securitisation or finance experience from a strong firm.
  • Confident drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong academic background and excellent technical skills
  • Experience in securitisation (private or public), asset-backed securities, receivables financing, and/or asset-based lending
