As a Business Support Administration Manager youll support the General Manager in the smooth daily running of the home, leading the reception team and ensuring all administrative and frontofhouse duties are delivered to a high standard. Youll act as the primary liaison with Berkley Concierge, maintaining proactive daily communication within agreed SLAs to manage the enquirytoadmissions pipeline. Youll coordinate and tailor show rounds, ensure the home is presented impeccably, and provide structured feedback after each visit and assessment. Youll manage the full admissions process, including booking assessments, preparing and issuing all contractual documentation, completing affordability checks, coordinating movein days, and maintaining accurate CRM records. Youll also oversee financial and people administration such as cash handling, reporting, payroll and holiday processes. As a culture champion, youll promote a strong one team ethos, support occupancy monitoring, and embed Berkley Care Groups values in everything we do.

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative management or business support role

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, holding others accountable and supporting their development
  • Confidence with financial data, budgeting and basic financial reporting
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Experience of cash collection and/or managing debt
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements in relation to administrative duties
  • High attention to detail, particularly around contractual, HR, financial and compliance documentation
  • Experience of safe recruitment practices including pre-employment checks and right to work compliance
  • Good understanding of HR and financial information systems and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong digital skills including Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel and outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach for different audiences.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
