The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior global growth leadership role within a high-performing consumer business on a fixed-term basis.

This role sits at the heart of the commercial engine of the business and carries full responsibility for delivering growth across a critical trading period.

This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring ownership of both strategy and execution across a large, international team.

The Role

As VP Marketing, you will be responsible for driving global revenue growth across all commercial channels. You will lead a multi-disciplinary international team spanning marketing, ecommerce, and regional growth functions, alongside managing a significant marketing budget.

Leading

  • Brand & Product Marketing Lead
  • Regional Growth Leads (North America, Europe, APAC)

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global growth strategy across D2C, marketplace, and B2B channels
  • Lead and develop a high-performing international team across multiple regions
  • Manage a substantial marketing budget with full commercial accountability
  • Initially lead the Brand & Product Marketing function, spanning brand, creative, communications, and product marketing
  • Deliver peak trading performance (including key seasonal campaigns) and support a major product launch
  • Align global and regional strategies in partnership with local market leads
  • Operate as a core member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Founder & CEO
  • Ensure strong integration across acquisition, retention, ecommerce, and brand functions
  • Support hiring and team development within the marketing organisation

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior growth or marketing leadership role (e.g. CMO, VP Marketing, VP Growth) within a consumer-facing business
  • Strong brand and performance marketing expertise
  • Commercially driven, with experience owning budgets and delivering against revenue targets
  • Experience leading large, multi-functional and international teams
  • Track record of delivering during peak trading periods and product launches
  • Omnichannel experience across D2C, retail, and/or marketplace environments
  • Comfortable operating at senior leadership level and partnering with founders/executives
  • Available on short notice and able to commit to a fixed-term contract
  • Background in high-growth consumer brands, FMCG, or consumer technology
  • Experience with marketplace platforms (e.g. Amazon)
  • Exposure to B2B alongside a consumer model
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams

  • This is a full-time, fixed-term employed role (not fractional or advisory)
  • The position is a defined maternity cover, with no expectation of a permanent transition
  • The role sits inside IR35
