The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • PDI Execution: Oversee andexecute allPre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) andPreventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) work,ensuringeveryvehicle functionandmechanical aspect is checked to meet a high operational standard.
  • Quality Inspection:Conductrandomandsystematicfinalinspectionsofallvehiclesleaving thepreparationphasetoensuremeticulousadherencetoqualitystandardsandspecifications.
  • ComplianceVerification:Ensureall workis compliantwith statutoryregulations, guaranteeing roadworthinessandsafetybefore deployment.
  • Workflow Oversight:Overseethe day-to-day runningof thepreparation, valet,andinspectionteams,activelyplanningandallocatingworkordersto preptechniciansbasedonpriorityand deadlines.
  • DeadlineManagement:Monitorthedailyworkflowtoensureall preparationactivitiesare progressingefficientlyandcompletedontimetomeetdispatchanddeliverydeadlines.

Team Performance: Monitor teamproductivity, ensuring ahigh standard of output andproviding the necessary support or assistance to resolve technical or operational issues swiftly.

Personal training and development needs are identified with supervisor.

  • All relevant training is attended.


Criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
  • Provenleadershipexperiencewithinabusy workshoporvehiclepreparationcentre.
  • High Level of aptitude for administrative tasks
  • Competent in the use of Computers
  • Good organisational skills
  • Self motivated and resilient


  • A Valid Driving License is essential for this position.
