DAY SHIFT ONLY

A growing and well-established manufacturing business in Dungannon is seeking a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern production environment, supporting machinery, plant services and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working Pattern
40 hours per week on a rotating 3-week schedule:

  • Week 1: Monday-Friday | 06:00 – 15:00
  • Week 2: Monday-Friday | 10:00 – 19:00
  • Week 3: 3 weekdays | 08:00 – 17:00 + Saturday-Sunday | 07:00 – 17:00

The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide day-to-day electrical maintenance across production machinery, equipment and site services. You will play a key role in ensuring operational uptime through fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and electrical project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical maintenance support to production, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out inspection, repair and fault finding on production equipment.
  • Complete and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks through the maintenance management system.
  • Support electrical installations, upgrades and commissioning projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe and effective maintenance practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, including safe isolation practices.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Essential Criteria

  • Electrical engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability on electrical systems and control panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
