Senior Associate Corporate (Belfast)
A leading corporate law team in Belfast is seeking a Senior Associate with strong corporate and transactional experience to join its dynamic and busy department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and other corporate matters for a diverse range of clients including growth businesses, investors, and multinational companies. The team works collaboratively across practice areas to deliver commercially focused, high-quality legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including M&A, restructurings, equity investments and commercial governance matters
Provide commercially grounded advice to clients at all stages of the corporate lifecycle
Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and related corporate governance documentation
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Person Specification
Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally within a commercial law firm context
Strong technical knowledge of UK company law and corporate transactional work
Demonstrated ability to manage significant matters independently and as part of a team
Excellent drafting, communication and client relationship skills
Commercial mindset and keen attention to detail
