  • Strong understanding of engineering design processes, calculations, and scope development
  • Experience resolving operational and integrity-related engineering issues
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software, including:
  • AutoCAD
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • Navisworks
  • BIM 360
  • Strong MS Office capability for technical reporting, specifications, and engineering documentation
  • Experience working with clients, contractors, and stakeholders with varying technical and commercial requirements
  • Knowledge of ASME codes (desirable)

Project Scope

Projects will span a range of energy transition and low-carbon infrastructure developments, including:

  • Natural gas transmission (below and above 7 bar)
  • Hydrogen pipeline systems
  • Carbon dioxide transport infrastructure
  • Future fuels and carbon capture systems

The role also includes exposure to early-stage and first-of-a-kind technologies within the evolving energy transition sector.

Additional Information

  • Remote working with periodic travel to key UK office locations
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Opportunity to work on nationally significant energy transition projects
  • High technical ownership and leadership responsibility within pipeline engineering discipline

Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior pipeline engineering professional to take a leading role in shaping low-carbon infrastructure projects that will define the future of the UK energy system.
