Business Development Lead/Senior Account Executive – AI & Data Solutions

Location: London area or Manchester area – Hybrid

Employment Type: Permanent

Start: ASAP

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission (OTE approx. double)

About the Role

Our Silver Databricks Partner Organisation is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive enterprise sales of AI and data transformation services.

The role focuses on structured enterprise sales, engaging senior stakeholders to shape and secure complex AI and data programmes. The successful candidate will combine a consulting mindset with strong sales discipline, helping organisations translate business challenges into scalable AI and data solutions.

Clients are primarily enterprise organisations in Financial Services, Insurance, Energy, and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) so this industry experience is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net new enterprise client acquisition across priority sectors
  • Lead end‑to‑end enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement to contract signature
  • Engage senior stakeholders and facilitate C-level conversations around AI and data transformation
  • Translate business challenges into AI and data solution opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise‑scale opportunities
  • Collaborate with consulting teams to shape solution strategies and proposals
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise technology or consulting sales
  • Background in services‑led environments such as consulting firms or systems integrators
  • Experience selling AI, data, analytics, or modern data platform solutions (essential)
  • Ability to engage senior and C-level stakeholders
  • Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platforms (advantageous)
  • Structured, disciplined approach to enterprise sales
  • Comfortable operating in a consulting‑led environment
