  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (final stage students may be considered)
  • Recently trained in practice or industry
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Assist with audits, liaising with auditors to ensure compliance
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance team
  • Provide financial support and advice to other departments
  • Assist with compliance related to sales tax and tax regulations
  • Support statutory filings and audits
  • Help with grant funding applications and interdepartmental financial relationships
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust financial controls and procedures
